Professional Activities

Editorial Responsibilities:
I am Associate Editor for the Journal of Occupational and Organizational Psychology and Consulting Editor of the International Journal of Management Reviews (IJMR) as well as a regular reviewer for Human Relations, The British Journal of Management, Gender, Work and Organisation, and other high quality Management journals.

Membership in Academic Organisation:
• The British Academy of Management
• The Work-Family Researchers Network
• The British Psychological Society, within which I am part of the Work-Life Balance Working Group within the Division of Occupational Psychology.

Other Roles:
I am the Deputy Director of the NWSSDTP, a consortium of four universities (Liverpool, Lancaster, Manchester, & Keele) in the North West of England funded by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC), to support postgraduate studentships and training across the social sciences.

I sit on the steering group of NARTI (The Northern Advanced Research Training Initiative), a network of research-led universities in the north of England who work together to provide specialist advanced training through the facilitation of events, retreats and conferences to establish networks to share cross-regional expertise.
