I am a current elected member of the Executive of the British Politics Group of the American Political Science Association.
I was a Trustee of the Political Studies Association (UK) - 2009-12.
I have been an external examiner for taught programmes at the University of Surrey and of PhD candidates at the Universities of Swansea, Canterbury Christ Church and Keele.
I have held an external appointment in the validation of new degree programmes at Edge Hill University.
