Dr. Rui Shi is a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in the Accounting and Finance department of the University of Liverpool. He obtained his PhD in Accounting and Finance at Lancaster University Management School. His research primarily focuses on corporate issues and interdisciplinary topics spanning the supply chain, corporate innovation, product market strategy, accounting regulations, and accounting practices. His scholarly contributions have been recognized through publications and acceptances in journals such as the Journal of Accounting Research and the Review of Corporate Finance Studies. His research has been presented at international conferences, including the Swiss Society for Financial Market Research Annual Meeting, American Accounting Association Annual Meeting, and Financial Management Association Annual Meeting, amongst others. He actively contributes to the academic community by serving as an ad-hoc reviewer for publications in International Review of Finance and Journal of Business Finance and Accounting.
