I am a Senior Lecturer in Economics at the University of Liverpool Management School. Previously, I was employed at Bangor University, and I obtained my PhD from Durham University. Since May 2019 I am an associate editor at the European Economic Review.

My research is focused on labour economics, political economy, and financial economics. I specialize in female labour supply, volunteering, voting, and credit risk. My work has been published in several top academic journals including the Economic Journal, European Economic Review, Public Administration Review and British Journal of Industrial Relations.
