  • I am currently Subject Lead for German and I am also the Lead for Curriculum Review in the Department of Modern Languages and Cultures (MLC).Past roles include: MLC Module Review Board Chair (2016); HLC Lead for Academic Standards (2013-16); HLC Assessment Officer (2011-12); SOCLAS Assessment 'Director' (alongside Assessment Officer included running and chairing the Board of Examiners and the Mitigating Circumstances Committee on behalf of the Chair of Board of Examiners and the Chair of the Mitigating Circumstances Committee, 2009-11); Head of German (2005-08, 2009-12); SOCLAS Chair of Academic Standards (2006-08); Admissions Tutor (for programmes involving German, French, Hispanic Studies, Modern European Languages and Joint Programmes between Modern Languages and English, History, Philosophy, Business Studies,1997-2007). I have also served as Programme Director for degree programmes involving German as Single and Joint Honours Subject, Modern European Languages etc.
