Confirming your engagement

This page provides information on confirming your engagement with us.

If confirmation of engagement is not completed you will not be a fully registered student of the University.

This means that your attendance will not be confirmed to agencies such as the Student Loans Company or UK Visas and Immigration, which may result in your student finance not being paid to you and, for international students, may risk your leave to remain in the UK.

You will not have fully completed the academic registration process until you have confirmed your engagement. This applies to all students, including those studying off the main University campus at sites such as Carmel College, Wirral Metropolitan College, Birkenhead Sixth Form College and the Truman Bodden Law School.

You will receive an email around 10 days prior to your programme start date, which is when you will be able to login to our academic regsitration task to confirm your engagement.

Confirmation of engagement

Once you have arrived on your campus, confirm your attendance via our academic registration task.

For those on our main Liverpool campus, this must be from a PC connected to the University network.

You can use a University PC to do this or you can use your own equipment using either a wired or a wireless connection.

After logging into the registration task, you will see the page to confirm your arrival. To complete your arrival, review and if needed, update your contact details.
