Research impact

The Politics Department's diverse and vibrant research capacity reflects our commitment to impactful research. We achieve this through public engagement events, contributions to policy making, expert evidence-giving, and informing ongoing debates.

Our colleagues frequently appear in the media, present evidence to Parliaments, and engage with regional and international bodies. Many have founded or are members of expert committees and speak at public events. We collaborate with various political parties, pressure groups, media outlets, and non-governmental organisations.
