Founding director of Droovy LTD, a gamification and software development company based in Liverpool. Major accomplishments:
• Project managed over 20 developers, artists and designers to produce and deliver 12 web and mobile applications and educational platforms through agile development processes.
• A massive portfolio of successful projects with large institutes such as BOC, the University of Liverpool, Shop Direct and the University of Sheffield.
• Designed and managed the development of a driver’s app for BOC called Foot on Gas, a gamified mobile application with online quizzes that was used as an educational training package for the company’s employees.
• Developed a cybersecurity training platform for university students (called Cyberdome) that uses gamification techniques to craft engaging and immersive learning environments.
• Designed and developed an interactive, AR, narrative-driven game for medical schools that won second place in the European Conference of Game-based Learning (ECGBL).
• Developed an online agility assessment tool for businesses, developed in collaboration with the University of Liverpool to assist SMEs in adapting during uncertainties.
• Developed an educational card game for the University of Liverpool and the University of Sheffield that helps students understand risk management in an immersive way.
• Designed and developed a mood tracking and data collection tool for the University of Liverpool that was used for research purposes.
• Developed a mobile problem-based platform with a spaced-retrieval design for the University of Texas.
• Designed and developed a digital risk management and quality testing tool for the Society of Risk Analysis (SRA)

Digital Transformation Consultancy:
Worked as the management school’s digital transformation consultant on the Liverpool City Region (LCR) Holistic project in supporting a wide range of industrial SMEs in their efforts to specify and adopt new working practices and digital (industry 4.0) technologies. Collaborating with a diverse set of internal and external stakeholders, partners and clients such as the Virtual Engineering Centre, Growth Platform & John Moores University. Supported SMEs include:
• Carney Engineering LTD: improved the company’s project management processes through mapping, modelling and designing a digital coordination system.
• Draw & Code: helped the company conceptualise, design, develop and test a gamified VR application that supports the mental health and well-being of medical students by providing a simulated meditation VR environment.
• Pronetix: assisted the company with the design and development of a local hub platform that uses AI algorithms to mobilise community fleets outside their core duties and transport people in groups at low cost.
• Kays Medical: helped the company design a gamified eLearning platform for their learning and development offerings. Additionally, extensive data analysis work was conducted to develop a new competitive company-wide pricing model to support the company’s growth and expansion strategy.
• Mutual Credit: assisted the company in designing, developing and launching their gamified Fintech platform that uses complex algorithms to increase debt clearance through pooled trade credit and liquidity-saving mechanisms.
• Red Ninja: supported the company in collecting and analysing relevant data sources needed for their fall prevention app and then developed a relevant big data analytics strategy and a visual dashboard to aid GPs in their monitoring and intervention efforts.
• Sigma technology: helped the company develop an innovative business model to accompany their new local shopping app offering.
