Our mission
The mission of the English Language Centre (ELC) is to collaborate with academic and professional services colleagues across the University of Liverpool to maximise student outcomes in academic, personal and future success by providing opportunities to develop effective language and communication skills appropriate to context. We support the University’s internationalisation agenda by contributing to an excellent overseas study experience for incoming international students. We seek to share expertise and knowledge through active participation in relevant communities of practice both within and external to the University.
