Generative AI Network

Generative AI Network (GAIN)

The Generative AI Network (GAIN) is an inter-institutional community of practice and network that shares policy, practice and developments in the use of Generative AI in pedagogic contexts.

The Generative AI Network (GAIN) was started by CIE in the summer of 2023, with an aim to bring together those working in education with an interest in exploring Generative AI for education and pedagogy. Members are from universities and other educational institutions across the UK, and are a mixture of lecturers, educational/academic developers, learning technologists and other interested stakeholders. The group aims to share policy and good practice between institutions across the UK, and to develop new approaches to integrating the technology into teaching, learning and assessment.
