All new students are automatically set up on Handshake, and an account is waiting for you as soon as you complete your course registration.

Here are three simple steps to help you ease your way into Handshake.

  1. Your account is waiting for you - visit https://liverpool.joinhandshake.co.uk and select ‘Sign in with your University of Liverpool MWS account’ using your MWS log-in details to access Handshake. Create a bookmark so you can find it again easily.

  2. Introduce yourself - Take some time to complete your new Handshake profile to make your achievements and experiences stand out. The more detail you include, the greater success you will have with the platform.
  1. Tell us what you want – make sure you regularly review your profile. This will ensure that the content you see is tailored to what you are really interested in, and you’ll view opportunities based on the jobs and locations that you are interested in.
