Providing opportunities and nurturing talent

Equality+ (EQ+) is designed to develop an environment where every student has the opportunity to succeed, regardless of background or circumstance. It aims to create an inclusive and equitable environment where all students have equal access to resources, support, and opportunities for their career development and future employment.

Partnering up with our EQ+ programme will allow you to:

  • Champion Diversity and Enhance your Brand: Showcase your organisation's commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Attract diverse candidates, retain employees, and differentiate yourself in promoting diversity and equality.
  • Diversify your Workforce: Connect with our talent pool of highly motivated and diverse candidates through targeted promotion of your opportunities and getting involved in focused activities.
  • Make an Impact: Support and input on initiatives that address inequalities and create opportunities for underrepresented groups to thrive.
  • Develop your EDI and Social Value strategy: Partnering with us on EQ+ can assist with highlighting what your organisation is doing internally and externally to meet your EDI & Social Value initiatives. You can also develop and refine your EDI strategy through access to insights, resources, and best practices, as EQ+ ensures continuous improvement and alignment with evolving diversity and inclusion standards.

Become an official EQ+ partner with the University of Liverpool and demonstrate your commitment to EDI and commitment in enhancing your Social Value policy by engaging in a range of activities and initiatives such as:

Networking Events, Panel Talks, Industry Mentors for BAME students, Sponsorship Opportunities, Year in industry opportunities/work experience and more.

Find out more details about EQ+ in our Guide to Attracting Talent in Autumn 2024.

“Any company who has a strong dedication to EDI as well as a passion and commitment to supporting the growth of the next generation should consider partnering with EQ+! In doing so, companies will positively open themselves up to the diverse and talented pool of students and grads from the University of Liverpool.”
