Khalida Abdulrahim

Khalida is a Product Strategy & Operations Lead at Google, having previously worked at YouTube and in the Operations Team at BP. She is an active volunteer with The University of Liverpool Management School.

After her graduation from Liverpool, Khalida graduated with an MBA from the University of Oxford before joining BPs Operations team (in Analytics, Supply and Trading). She now works for Google as a Product Strategy Lead in the Consumer Products division.

Khalida has always taken time out to give back to current students at the University of Liverpool. She has served as an advisor on the steering committee of the Women’s Leadership Professional Interest Network, has given a career talk on campus to students as part of ULMS Extra, recorded a detailed video interview for students, attended the Master in Management and MSc Finance networking event in London and is also working with a group of students as part of a new project.

More recently, Khalida has provided an exciting project where students will research a new ecommerce product from Google to bring together the worlds of shopping and social media. Khalida also put the School in touch with her colleague at Google who is based in San Francisco who is also offering a project.

Originally from Nigeria, Khalida is passionate about equality, diversity and inclusion. She has co-founded and led employee networks for BAME and women members of staff to help support and provide more opportunities for under-represented groups.
