About the event

Join us for the launch of the Sir Peter Rigby Centre for Enterprise and hear from Sir Peter Rigby about the exciting plans for this transformational centre.

Sir Peter will have an in-depth discussion outlining his life, career and his vision for the Centre for Enterprise and why he chose the University of Liverpool as his partner. This promises to be a fascinating opportunity to hear more from the man who has built one of the UK’s largest privately owned businesses, The Rigby Group.

Refreshments will be available upon arrival.

We will also be holding optional tours of the new Centre following the event.

About the Centre

The Sir Peter Rigby Centre for Enterprise will transform the employability of the University of Liverpool’s students, staff and the young people of the Liverpool City Region. It will ensure more young people have the enterprise skills to thrive by offering funding to enterprising students who could not otherwise attend university, strengthening our growing entrepreneurial University student population, and supporting the commercialisation of world changing innovations led by our academics.

It will raise the level of enterprise education and entrepreneurial skills development across our community with the aim of reaching 50,000 people within its 3-year pilot.

The Centre will be underpinned by our joint vision, built on a rich history of 50 years of entrepreneurism, along with the University's reputation for innovation and academic excellence.
